Graham Hansel of the West Ferris Trojans will look to defend his Northern Ontario Secondary School Athletics senior boys’ cross-country title on Manitoulin Island, Friday, after cruising to victory at the NDA cross-country championships last week.

Hansel, a Grade 12 student, claimed the senior boys’ NDA title in a time of 25:27, three minutes clear of second-place finisher Ryan Daley of Chippewa (28:27). Malcolm McCubbin of Widdifield was third in 29:56.
